Dr. Fahmida Banu is a seasoned public health and development professional with more than 30 years of extensive experience in designing, implementing, managing, and evaluating health and nutrition programmes across Bangladesh. As Director, Program Operation at DOT Consulting, she provides strategic leadership in programme design, quality assurance, implementation oversight, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring impactful and sustainable development outcomes. Holding an MBBS degree from Chittagong Medical College and a Master's in Public Health (MPH) from Community Medicine, Chittagong Medical College, Dr. Banu has built a distinguished career working with leading national and international development organisations. Her professional journey includes senior leadership and technical roles with organisations such as UNICEF, CARE Bangladesh, Pathfinder International, URC, and other USAID-funded initiatives, where she has led programmes focusing on reproductive health, family planning, maternal and child health, nutrition, tuberculosis control, and health systems strengthening. Throughout her career, Dr. Banu has demonstrated exceptional expertise in programme management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity development, policy implementation, and multi-stakeholder coordination. She has successfully managed large-scale health interventions, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and strengthened institutional capacities to improve service delivery and community health outcomes.
Zakia Begum is a highly experienced development consultant with over 35 years of expertise in research, training, and program evaluation. She specializes in study design, Training Needs Assessment (TNA), capacity development, and participatory research across sectors including public health, gender, SRHR, and social development. She has led numerous baseline studies, evaluations, and large-scale training initiatives in collaboration with UN agencies, INGOs, and government institutions. Known for her strong facilitation skills and evidence-based approach, she brings deep insight into community engagement, behavioral change communication (BCC), and inclusive development programming.
Sanjida Kaium is a dynamic development professional with over 26 years of experience in business development, strategic communication, advocacy, and gender and SRHR programming. She has led initiatives in climate resilience, women’s empowerment, and community development across national platforms. With strong expertise in BCC, curriculum design, capacity development, and donor engagement, she has a proven track record in proposal development and multi-stakeholder coordination. She is also an experienced media professional, having produced and presented over 450 radio episodes with Bangladesh Betar.
